Update Jan 31, 2012
I never left the area after high school. I have lived in Lowell for more than 25 years.

I unfortunately lost my wife of 30 years to ovarian cancer this past November so it is a time of change.

I have a wonderful daughter who is finishing up her senior year in college. She hopes to become a teacher like her mother.

I have worked in the computer business for the past 35 years, mostly service and customer support.

Update Feb 2, 2016
I lived in Waltham until right after I got married in 1985. Worked at Grover Cronins for a year after graduation and a year at a travel agency.

Then went to Raytheon Service Company in Burlington, MA. That's where I met my husband Mike. We have been married for thirty years. We have two wonderful daughters, Shauna, 27 and Mary, 23. We have lived in Reading for 28 years.

This is a great site to catch up on. Hope to make the next reunion.

Update Aug 18, 2012
I'm settled for now in southern Maryland with my wife Ann of 32 years. I completed a 30 year career in the Navy in 2006. My current job is managing a division of a company supporting Naval aircraft development as a contrator. After graduating from the Naval Academy and flight school I served in many places, attended graduate schools, and had jobs flying helicopters off of aircraft carriers and various other activities.
I think we moved 17 times in all (several tours in Florida, Virginia, and California) and spent 6 years in Italy and Spain. Our 3 daughters got the adventursome bug as well. Our oldest is a Navy doctor, married to another Navy doctor and is stationed in Okinawa. They have made us grandparents and we visited recently. Our middle daughter is married and lives in Madrid, Spain and works in the energy business, and our youngest is attending graduate school in journalism at University of Maryland.

We've made regular trips to back to Waltham and the area over the years visiting my parents (both gone now). And now my cute twinnie Jimmy has started an annual family reunion around the Lowell Folk Festival.

No mid-life crisis Harley-Davidson here, but enjoy golfing, biking, boating, and fixing stuff. Washington, DC is about an hour away for cultural stimulation.

It's been a treat scrolling through the web site and the reunion should be a blast. Looking forward to seeing a whole lot of wicked pissa dinks from Waltham. Go Hawks.

Update Sep 2, 2022
Well...I guess in honor of the 50th, I should exit the "Witness Protection Program" and unmask.
After high school, In 1976 I graduated UMass Amherst with a degree in Biochemistry. In 1978, I received a MS degree in Molecular(Recombinant)Genetics from MIT. In 1982, I received my MD degree from Einstein Medical School in Bronx, NY.

I wanted to be a surgeon and was told by am advisor that "War is only good for one thing ... training surgeons." But with no war raging at the time, The Bronx was the next closest thing. He wasn't kidding!

Fast Forward: Five years of Surgical residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by two years of Pediatric Surgical Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, and Finally, 17 years after high school, my formal education was complete.

I then spent my entire career at Boston Children's, running the Surgical ICU and operating on sick and injured babies and children. Some of them...yours!

I retired 3 years ago at 65, as I had seen too many of my mentors stay too long, sometimes with devastating results. I now occasionally travel to far flung places as a volunteer, to help the locals. Ecuador later this month, and Vietnam in November are the next two stops.

On the personal side, Eileen Comeau and I were married in 1976, had five great kids to whom Eileen was "Mother of the Year," all while essentially being a single parent, as I was literally never home.

A few decades later, as my continued absence took its toll, we divorced. But, we remain on good terms, co-parent our five adult children (YES, some kids never grow up), and will attend the WHS 50th together.

I'm sorry this is so long. So is 50 years...
